Summit Forge started with a simple idea: that good gear should be honest, functional, and built to last. We’re a small team based in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by the mountains, rivers, and forests that made us obsessed with being outside in the first place.

We carry gear we’d take on our own trips — nothing more, nothing less. Every product in the Summit Forge lineup has been tested in real conditions: wet Pacific Northwest winters, high-altitude summer scrambles, river crossings, long-distance thru-hikes. If it doesn’t hold up, it doesn’t make the cut.

The name comes from the idea of the forge — where raw material gets shaped into something useful, through heat and pressure and repetition. That’s what the outdoors does to gear. That’s what good wilderness trips do to people.

We’re a small shop. We don’t carry everything — deliberately. We’d rather carry twelve things we believe in than two hundred things we don’t. Browse the shop, read the journal, and take something good with you next time you head out.
